Our close collaboration with SMD Design is a prefect mix of knowledge and shared values resulting in the products always being in focus.
We believe that to create great products you have to care for the little things, the tiny details as well as the larger picture, for example construction, are very important to complete the whole. This results in carefully considered products that we believe will stand the test of time.
Our hallway collection for SMD Design consist of the Stream bench, the Straw and Crown Coat Hangers and the Leaf Hooks.
Stream has an exciting design language with a number of beautiful angles and details. The name comes from the design of the seating surface, with a depression like a stream flowing through the landscape. Stream bench is available in two different versions – with a leather seat for indoor use, as well as a variant for outdoor use without the leather-covered seating surface.
Straw Coat Hanger have a sculptural design with an organic expression, where the hard metal gets a soft feel. Straw is made out of structure lacquered steel.
The Coat Hanger Crown and the wall hooks Leaf are made out of sand cast aluminum and structure lacquered steel with a smooth expression. Two products that works as well together as apart – like leafs fallen from the crown of a tree.
